Important Notice:
With effect from 1st August 2021. It is mandatory for all shipment into Indonesia to include the local tax ID (NPWP) of consignees based in Indonesia.
If the consignee does not have a local tax ID (NPWP), alternate forms of identification may be used such as:
- Nomor Induk Kependudukan (N.I.K.) Number / Kartu Tanda Penduduk (KTP) Number
- International Passport Number
Under Indonesian Import & Export Regulations, the maximum quantity per consignee is 10 pieces of clothing and accessories and 2 pairs of footwear under the same local tax id (NPWP) This a quota that will be applied to across orders that are placed under same local tax id (NPWP) placed within 5 business days. Any violation of the regulation will lead to confiscation by the Indonesia Customs.
