Style and function
This is my second pair of the TriBase Reign shoe and I really like them. Firstly, I love their look (I got the hot pink ones), I haven't seen any other cross-training shoe quite like them in design. Secondly, I like their stability for the variety of movements I do at the gym. They did take a few wears to "break-in," but I have a wide foot, so that's the case for me for all shoes for me. I've had them a few months and they still look and feel good.

LOVE THEM
I broke them in right as I got them and honestly amazing. My performance was not hindered because they were new shoes. They felt like they were one with my foot already during the first use. I personally did not have any issues with the tongue like others. I have no bull lifting shoes and these are on top for performance and comfort. You wont regret it, buy them! Under Armour just needs to sponsor me already, come on guys!

Very underrated shoe!
These are THE lifting shoes you want - if you like the feel of barefoot feet, but want a nice grip with the floor also. I had no idea about UA shoes, was out looking to invest into good training shoes. Metcons were OK, but Nikey shoes give me crammed feet syndrome. Tried these on at the store and just couldn’t get out of my head how comfortable they were and how nice they looked. Returned my Nike’s and got these only to find out how well they perform. Went on the website and read the DNA - that’s exactly what they are! The thought process behind the shoe is incredible and there’s definitely an upgrade with every model - unlike with Metcons. My foot is perfectly comfortable in the shoebox. The ridges on the sole that are supposed to allow the shoe to bend are flexible enough so not to give me ingrown nails from all the wrong impact. The sole is slightly curved inwards, following natural anatomy of your foot, very important with lifting. These shoes almost feel flat, but orthopedic. The tongue is cushioned, soft and curvy, so you don’t feel the straps all that much, although I don’t really tie these shoes up too much anyway.That little hook strap on the back was weird at first, but very convenient for putting your shoes on AND off. Some people complained they weren’t able to jump or walk in these shoes, but these are very purpose specific shoes and that is lifting. The only thing I’d agree with some of the reviews is that the straps are too silky, so unless you really tie them up very tight, they have a tendency to untie, and if you do - the entire impact doesn’t hug your foot, but more so is stuck at the top, but that could be also due to the curved shape. I love the way these shoes allow me to feel my muscles while I work out, and I haven’t had any joint, knee or hip pain from working out in them the way I had with other shoes (why I started barefoot). Absolutely recommend and totally worth the money! Well done, UA!

Comfortable
Very comfortable. Work well with weightlifting and provide that nice flat surface needed for traction. Fit true to size.

Good cross training shoe
I purchased these shoes for CrossFit. They work great and are super comfortable. I really enjoy that they have a rubber guard for rope climbs. My only complaint is that they are quite hot. The material is not as breathable as I was expecting.
