I haven't sprained my ankle in over a decade, and yesterday wearing these shoes I did. If you're gonna wear these shoes I recommend wearing ankle braces on both feet. If you often go for rebounds, or find yourself jumping often on the court, I wouldn't recommend them at all.
The outside of the bottom seems to have pretty good traction but the square looking piece in the front of the shoe is terrible. I have had these shoes for a few weeks and have played in them about 5 times on 5 different courts. Each time I go to plant or stop, I slid. I have fallen multiple times, been called for travel because of this. I highly do not recommend wearing these for basketball on an indoor court. As i do find them comfortable, I may wear them for outdoor playing because traction usually is not an issue there.
I am not a fan of the curry 1-4, design-wise. But curry 5 appealed to me more than any shoe this 2018. I would love to have another pair of laces though. A shoe cleaning kit available in your website would be great.
I'm not sure why but something in the inside of the right shoe is rubbing up against my foot. I have had a little bit of skin torn off of my foot and playing in the shoe hurts now. I don't know why it was just the right shoe either. Also, a friend of mine who has the curry 5 as well does not experience these problems. This leaves me to wonder if my pair was just defective or something along those lines.
I got these shoes about 2 months ago, and have only used them a Handful of times, and the shoes falling apart.
I feel discomfort with curry5 even by just walking.
Wow, these are amazing and they honestly are the best basketball shoes I've worn. That is saying a lot especially since I've had 5 models of the Under Armour Curry 3, I model of the Curry 3Zero, and 1 model of the Curry 3 low and they all performed amazing. I got the Moroccan blue/white pair for my school B.B. team and they perform over the top. YOU MUST GET THESE SHOES!!!!!!!
The shoe is aesthetically pleasing, but the cushion isn't really that great. It's almost nonexistent, so for those dunking or jumping high, be careful. This shoe is made for Steph C., who shoots and shifts very quickly. For point guards amd shooting guards, it's a very good shoe. I did encounter some heel slippage and also this shoe is very tight in the middle so i would suggest getting 0.5 size up or a size up. I'm normally a 9 and the 9 didn't really feel great so i got a 9.5 and no issues. No blisters and no cuts. It's not really great outdoors but who would want to ruin this good looking shoe anyway playing outdoors? Overall, happy with this purchase. Just hoped it had better cushioning.
Most comfortable curry yet! Great traction! I bought 3 pair already
I bought these for my son for this years school basketball season. They did not last four weeks of practice. The season hasn't even started yet and the sole is separating in two places.
