Very difficult to walk correctly after 18 holes with that in your feet! Need a better shoe sole.
My 2nd pair of Spieths, had the Spieth 1s and these are much nicer. Feet stayed dry in very wet conditions and the shoes held their grip in the ground. Only got rid of the JS1s due to a malfunction in the rotational spike but so far so good. Highly recommend. They will fit a bit tight right away but after 2 walking rounds they are pretty much broken in.
these are my 2nd pair of UA shoes, the first pair being the 1st generation model. I now have the Speith2 model, and I am extremely happy with them. I've worn them for two rounds of golf and two long practice sessions at the range, and they still look better than great! Normally, you might expect scuffs, wrinkles or the leather to be at least have a few scratches, but the shoes look practically new.
Performance-wise, the cleats have really shown to be grippy even in wet conditions.
But what I'm really happy about is the fit. Usually, my feet are tired and achy after a round, but these shoes fit so well and are so comfortable, I am now thinking to buy another pair in a different color!
Congratulations UA! I'm a very satisfied customer!
There was a break in period of about 3 rounds (cart golf) before they reached maximum comfort (I have played over 10 rounds in them now). This was my first UA golf shoe and first spiked golf shoe, I mention this because it is the reason I can’t give a max rating in comfort and performance since I dont have a comparison. I’m very impressed with how comfortable they are while at the same time being very stiff and stable during my swing. I have played a couple rounds in very wet conditions and the gortex works as advertised, my feet stayed completely dry. I haven’t had any problems cleaning the fabric part (mine are navy), just some soapy water and a soft scrub with a toothbrush does the trick for me (after the dirt and debris is dry). Overall I’m very happy with the shoe, it may be priced a little high due to the Spieth name, but I would buy them again and would recommend them to anyone interested in some new golf shoes.
Fantastic golf shoe, but the fabric on the back is extremely hard to clean.
Bought Spieth 2 this month and after 2 rounds of golf, 2 spikes came off and were lost. I believe there have been similar complaints about UA golf spikes in general, but I had hoped they would have been solved with this Spieth 2 model. But no. I am extremely disappointed - UA wont replace the spikes, and the type being used by this shoe is hard to find in where I live. USD 200 for really poor durability- Jordan Spieth, if you are listening, please do something. After all, your name is being branded here.
I bought the shoes two days ago, played 18 yesterday on a wet course. The shoes were comfortable and worked well with no blisters , surprising for a brand new shoe, not broken in yet. Unfortunately I had to retie my laces every two holes...the laces are ridiculous. Double knotted and they still came undone. For a shoe costing this much why such poor laces? Now I'm going shopping for real laces and that is not supposed to be happening. First time buying UA shoes so not a great first impression.
